Nestled in the village of Calabasas is a very unique local joint, Pedaler’s Fork. An homage to the bicyclists who ride through the local hills, this isn’t just a restaurant, or a bar, or a coffee shop, or a bike shop. Its all of the above.
“Pedalers Fork is a local restaurant, a premium stocked bar, in-house roasted 10 Speed Coffee, an extensive whiskey bar, innovatively delicious food, a boutique bike shop in an intimate atmosphere all under one roof. A great place to meet friends and a great place to make friends.” – Pedaler’s Fork
While Calabasas is home to gated celebrity communities, opulent strip malls and convenient errand running, there is also a quaintness to the main Calabasas area. It has a rustic, canyon feel with little shops and a sprinkling of restaurants, and in the center of it all, Pedaler’s Fork. Its a great place for breakfast on the patio next the little brook or stop into the Coffee Shop for fresh roasted coffee or a cup of Charles & Company Tea.
One of the fun features is that the Coffee Shop is on the backside of the restaurant next to their bike shop. You can literally ride up, pop your bike into a stand and grab a cup of coffee. You can even sit cafe style on the exterior of the bike shop and watch what’s happening with the bikes while eating your lunch on the patio.
And for busy families, there’s a primo offering on their menu…dinner to go. You can order meats from their smoker by the 1/4 lb, 1/2 lb or lb and pick it up for dinner. There’s brisket, chicken and pulled pork to choose from. The brisket is divine. You can find them at 23504 Calabasas Rd Calabasas, CA 91302. Or online at www.pedalersfork.com.
