Dr. Andre Panossian is a board-certified plastic surgeon practicing in the greater Los Angeles area. He belongs to a unique group of plastic surgeons with expertise in highly complex reconstructive problems. Dr. Panossian holds a subspecialty qualification in pediatric plastic surgery and has trained at the prestigious Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and Children’s Hospital Boston of Harvard Medical School.
For nearly seven years, Dr. Panossian served as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Keck School of Medicine at USC and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles before going into private practice. While there he founded the Vascular Anomalies Center and the Facial Paralysis Program, which have now become one of the busiest centers of their kind in the western United States. In 2014, Dr. Panossian opened his private practice in Beverly Hills in order to provide a more comprehensive approach to the treatment of facial paralysis, vascular anomalies, pediatric hand surgery, and pediatric plastic surgery. He has selected a specialized team committed to meeting the highest standards of care and patient satisfaction.
Dr. Panossian’s areas of interest include facial paralysis reconstruction, vascular anomalies, and reconstruction of hand deformities. He has authored over 25 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. His articles have been published in leading plastic surgery journals. Dr. Panossian is credited for innovating new techniques for achieving facial harmony in the setting of facial paralysis and continues to collaborate internationally on the subject. He continues to lecture on this topic as well as the challenging field of vascular anomalies (eg, hemangiomas, port wine stains, lymphatic malformations, etc.) internationally, with special focus on developing new algorithms and surgical techniques.
