Every June Something Magical Happens
at Wadsworth Theatre Grounds in Los Angeles

The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation’s annual A Time for Heroes Celebrity Picnic brings 1,000 Angelenos together to hang with some of Hollywood’s hottest stars, play old-fashioned carnival games, get creative with arts and crafts, dance to some great music and enjoy a banquet of unbelievable food — all while helping to end pediatric AIDS worldwide. A Time for Heroes has raised more than $33 million since 1989 to fund pediatric AIDS research and the Foundation’s international medical programs to prevent new HIV infections in babies and to keep HIV-positive mothers alive through lifesaving treatment.
