We have four fantastic events to offer you this October!
October 14 –Join us at Bubbles on 5th Street in Santa Monica for a lot of fun in the indoor treehouse and play kitchen. Pop into the salon for a kiddie spa treatment or fun hairdo. Musical performance by Birdie’s Playhouse, Balloon Art by SuperInflated, meet and greet with fun characters from Forever After Entertainment and more! You won’t want to miss the Popcorn Bar set up by Pop-Gram Kettle Corn and the incredible desserts from Le Bonbon. Additional childcare is provided by College Nannies & Tutors.
October 17 – Join us at 6:00pm at Wilshire Boulevard Temple on Wilshire Boulevard just East of the Miracle Mile as Carol Bovill, Director of Wilshire Boulevard Temple’s Early Childhood Centers brings her much loved Coffee with Carol program to you…at night. Carol will be speaking about “Separation: How To Be Okay With Your Kid Being Okay Without You.” Come early for a tour of the WBTLA parenting center and preschool, and shop the Book Fair featuring books for kids of all ages and a really great section of Jewish books. The Book Fair offers top titles and unique finds for kids of all ages, even the grown ups.
October 21 – Join MomAngeles and Zookies in celebration of the grand re-opening of the Toluca Lake Farmers Market 10am – Noon (the market is open 9am – 1pm)! In addition to all the festivities taking place at the Farmer’s Market celebration, Zookies will have fun activities for the kids, treats and more! Check back for details!
October 23 – Join us at 6:30pm at Kidville for Demystifying the LA Private Elementary School Admissions Process led by our regular contributor Christina Simon, of Beyond The Brochure: An Insider’s Guide To Private Elementary Schools in Los Angeles and co-author Porcha Dodson, with additional insight from school consultant Sandy Eiges of L.A. School Scout, this event is chock full of great information. This event is brought to you by Academic Achievers tutoring services and a KinderPrep program to engage your child and prepare them for Kindergarten.
