Tips from Tori Spelling: Things to Make Moms Day Easier
Just 3 days before Tori Spelling gave birth to her 4th child, Finn. A very pregnant Tori and I sat down to talk about living in Los Angeles, being a mom and how she spends her days with her 3 children and another one on the way. Tori tells me that she and her husband Dean McDermott have created a fun Mecca at their house for their children including a make shift farm and vegetable garden. They also love crafting! Her daughter, Stella just adores creating.
Between being a mom, her acting and appearances, writing books (check out the New York times best-selling authors book on amazing party planning tips “CelebraTORI”) and owning a super cute retail shop (which by the way is here in Sherman Oaks, called InvenTORI) she has a little free time. Tori uses some of that free time to explore the internet to prepare for the next day and weekend. She finds creative art projects, birthday party vendors and searches for events and fun things to do on the weekends. Sounds like she uses the MomAngeles directory! When she goes out on the weekends with the family in tow, they love to go to local farmers markets and other family friendly venues or events.
I was amazed at how calm she was working when her baby could be due at any moment. Working moms rule! And you have to give her even more credit, she has a 10 month old at home too! Yes, do the math, she got pregnant the first month after her 3rd baby was born. Being so busy she said needs help to make things easy. One of her mommy insider tips is lunchables. She is super excited about the new smoothies that are made with real fruit and the use of whole grains. Her kids have their favs too – son, Liam likes the chicken strips pack while her daughter, Stella prefers the stackable kits as she loves the make-it-yourself aspect.
As a mom, making lunch everyday for school can be a time-consuming task. For those days when you are tired or not feeling inspired, (Well, when are we NOT tired?) … Lunchables can be a welcome change for you and your kids. Lunchables is giving away 1 million prizes at http://lunchables.com/fun including dream tree house, ultimate sport court or gaming room. Feeling charitable?
