Join us for Our First “How to Write a Kids Book Event”
Due to the creative genius of our ever so clever co-editor and contributor Susanna Morgan we are hosting what we think is our first super stellar literary event! Join us from 10am – 12pm for our first How to Write a Kids Book event at the new Scribble Press location in Encino for a fun morning of kids crafts and story readings by author Sarah Maizes of “On My Way to the Bath” followed by Q&A with the author on how to write, publish and distribute a kids book.
The event will kick-off with author Sarah Maizes reading a kids book that inspired her followed by a reading of her book “On My Way to the Bath.” After story time the kids will get to do a fun craft with the folks at Scribble Press while the parents sip coffee and get tips from Sarah Maizes about book writing. Please take note of ticket sales because the space is very limited. Meaning – the sooner you get your ticket the better bc we are closing the attendance at 20 kids and 30 adults.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Scribble Press they are a custom book publishing company with a fantastic iPad app that allows you to create and publish your own custom book. You can also have them scan your child’s artwork that they made in a class or at a party at Scribble Press, or artwork from school or home, and create a book that way. Scribble Press is located on the 3rd floor at the East end of the Encino Town Center shopping center. We recommend parking on the East end or behind the shopping center.

And…if you haven’t yet bought your Mommy Club card for $35….you should! Because this event is FREE for Mommy Club members.
