This Saturday morning, in the Valley, (yes we know its Carmegeddon but we’re doing it anyway) there will be crafts and stories for kids followed by coffee and some great insight served up with a side of wit (author Sarah Maizes is hilarious) at the new Scribble Press location in Encino!

Due to the creative genius of our ever so clever co-editor and contributor Susanna Morgan we are hosting what we think is our first super stellar literary event! Join us from 10am – 12pm for our first How to Write a Kids Book event with author Sarah Maizes of “On My Way to the Bath”.
The event will kick-off with reading by Sarah Maizes, author of “On My Way to the Bath” .” After story time the kids will get to do a fun craft with the folks at Scribble Press while the parents sip coffee and get tips from Sarah Maizes about book writing. Please take note of ticket sales because the space is very limited. Meaning – the sooner you get your ticket the better bc we are closing the attendance at 20 kids and 30 adults.
Scribble Press, a fun place for kids art, classes and custom book making, is located on the 3rd floor at the East end of the Encino Town Center shopping center. We recommend parking on the East end or behind the shopping center. They also have a new App for iPads that you can use to publish your own custom book. We are happy to offer mini tutorials after the event for those of you who are interested!
