Romp! The Place to Play in Hollywood
The kids are out of school and you’re looking for things to do? If you haven’t taken your little ones to Romp now is the perfect time. Their indoor play zone includes a fantastic play structure, indoor slide, ball pit, sand box and more. The kids will love climbing the stairs into the little loft and then zooming down the big green slide into the ball pit. There is also an arts and crafts room, sitting area for parents and a place for kids to eat. Romp sells a few snacks and coffee for parents too.
This is also a terrific venue for kids parties! In fact it’s SO terrific we are hosting Sunday Funday there THIS SUNDAY August 12 from 2 – 4pm. The miniature horse, potbellied pig and Teddy the sheep will be there along with face painting and balloon art! Come out and see just how incredible a party at Romp can be! We are giving away ONE FAMILY ticket valued at $30! Just comment below the post to be entered in the drawing!
Want to host your 1 – 5 year old’s party somewhere fun and cute? Romp will do all the work. You just have to invite the kids. They have access to a number of party resources including a miniature horse, pot bellied pig and a sheep named Teddy who are happy to visit with the little ones.
Looking for classes? Romp features a sizeable classroom near their reception desk, completely separate from the play area. If your little ones are interested in Hip Hop dance, Dance for Tots or Karate there are also great classes available to them. Hip Hop is taught by Janice Wong who specializes in teaching creative movement for 18 months to 3 year olds. Her classes use a combination of singing, games and chants to teach proper warm up and artistic movement. Dance for Tots for 18 – 24 months is taught by Dara Komar who teaches basic introduction to the foundations of dance for children of all ages. Her classes help the students develop proper technique and become aware of body, rhythm, and balance. Check the schedule online at www.rompla.com/classes.

Now if Karate is more your thing Philippe Nuguid has been teaching and training for over 10 years now. He started his training during his freshmen year in high school under Kris Kademian at Masters in Motions Academy. He has a natural talent for martial arts and brings a dynamic energy to the class. He’s competed in several tournaments, more recently the 45th National Ryobu-Kai Karate Tournament; sanctioned by the USA National Karate Federation. But through martial arts, he’s made positive changes in his life.
