JÄM for PHASE ONE

About two years ago I started dancing with Neda. It changed my body. It changed my energy level. It changed my attitude. I now look forward to working out. Because in Neda’s class, as corny as it sounds, I feel joy. In Neda’s class I get to rock out and dance and sing just like I did when I went to night clubs in my college days…ok ok its a lot more athletic and the lights are on and nobody is smoking…but you get the idea.

About two years ago two very special women in my life were diagnosed with and survived breast cancer. Both are Moms. Both are phenomenal contributors to the community and friends who bring great joy into my life. I count myself among the many many folks who are thrilled that they kicked cancer’s ass.  One of those incredible, inspirational friends introduced me to Phase One Foundation.

I am not in this picture but can't you feel the joy?

And thus I was inspired to cook up this event….on Sunday, August 19 at 9:00 am in the courtyard of the Malibu Lumber Yard… yes, outside…100 people are going to JÄM for PHASE ONE in an effort to kick cancer’s ass. If you haven’t JÄMed before you are in for an insanely fun hour of plyometrics applied to dance routines that keep you shaking your money maker to irresistible Bollywood, Hip Hop, Salsa and Pop music. It’s a workout you will never forget! Neda Soderqvist, founder of Juicy Athletic Moves (JÄM) is a dynamo not to be missed. Tickets are $28.00 and 100% of tickets sales proceeds benefit Phase One.

You have to buy a ticket if you want to JÄM. See right here? On this page…just below. You can buy one right now! (You will also get a pink tee from Lorna Jane as a participant that you can wear during the event. Can’t you just envision the sea of pink dancers? So cool!)
