What to do with the kids this Sunday? Bring them to Boobie-Palooza!
That’s right…we said it…BOOBIE-PALOOZA*. Held at the stunning Ebell venue on Sunday August 5, from 12 – 4pm, just in time for World Breastfeeding Week, the Berlin Wellness Group and the Pump Station are hosting an all-out educational extravaganza helping Moms learn all there is to know about breastfeeding. This fun-filled afternoon will feature activities for the entire family including a lactation lounge, expert panels, a pamper lounge, a baby gear zone, a green zone, a sling clinic, food trucks, kids activities (face painting, balloons etc) and even a beer garden for Dad!
But what about the kids!?!?!? The kids will have a BLAST in the Jenny Becs Kid Zone with activities and a concert by Kidville featuring Rockin’ Railroad. Also don’t miss out on Birdie’s Playhouse! Birdie’s Latin influenced songs about animals will take you on a musical tour of world culture. Also in the Kids Zone, Books & Cookies Book Nook an interactive reading zone with story reading by LA authors including Sarah Maizes author of “On My Way to the Bath” and a SKIP * HOP “It’s A Zoo” Coloring Contest.

Last year, over 400 people attended the inaugural event in Orange County, CA where moms were showered and empowered with support and information from the Pump Station professionals and pampered with mommy massage by Berlin Wellness Group. Boobie-Palooza includes expert panels with notables like Ricki Lake, Sarah Shahi, Dr.Harvey Karp, Dr. Yvonne Bohn and Dr. Stuart James Fischbein. There will also be a sling clinic, exhibitors, entertainment and a beer garden plus a live nurse-in with appearances by Jamie Lynne Grumet (otherwise known as the TIME breastfeeding mom) and Katie Hamilton, who recently found herself in the center of a local controversy when she attempted to nurse at LACMA.
