CAMP: Hands-On Science Camp at the CA Science Center in Exposition Park
One of the most comprehensive science camps in Los Angeles, The California Science Center’s summer camp for emerging scientists, ages preschool-8th grade, promises to delight, inspire and educate.
Hands-On Science Camp offers a science-filled summer camp experience with classes like, “Our Star”, “Sticky, Icky, Yucky” and “Pirate Science” for kids entering kindergarten. The camp features more than 25 courses, including the popular parent-and-child classes that give families a chance to investigate science together.
Hands-On Science Camp takes place in and around the Wallis Annenberg Building for Science Learning and Innovation which houses cutting-edge classrooms and labs. Campers will have access to a modern environment that include the Big Lab, a 32,000 sq. ft. space containing large-scale experiment platforms designed for hands-on investigation.
