CAMP: Saken Sports Camp at Curtis School
Saken Sports camp, founded in 1994 by Rio Saken (Coach at Curtis School) is one of LA’s premier summer camps. Saken’s summer camp, located on the beautiful Curtis School campus (Mulholland near the 405), is for grades 1st-6th, with the Rookie Camp for Pre-K, DK and Kindergarten.
Packed full of every sports and game imaginable, from football and tennis to arts & crafts, capture the flag and mini golf, Saken campers have the chance to play three sports each week in a fun, safe environment. The highlight of the camp? There isn’t just one…they are many: Olympics Day, Awards Ceremony, Wacky Relays, Water Park Day, Sports Spectacular Day, Coaches V. Campers Day, Halloween Day, Carnival Day, Ultimate Jumper Day, and a Hawaiian Luau.
Saken Sports Camp also offers simultaneous summer sports camps for boys and girls, grades 3rd-6th. For grades 2nd-12th, Saken’s Hawaiian Adventure Sleepaway Camp is a super-popular program.
