School Search Jitters? We Can Help!
Finding and getting into the right school is a topic we discuss at MomAngeles repeatedly. Every day we speak with Moms who are trying to figure out the right preschool for their child, or can’t decide if the local charter elementary school is the right fit for their child, or if they should send their child to a private school. And if its a private school – well should it be a religious school? And what about the application process? What if I do the wrong thing and eliminate my chances of getting my child into school? Or what if my dream school turns out not to be, and now we are looking AGAIN.
Being faced with these challenges leaves many of us parents feeling overwhelmed and a bit intimidated. Luckily LA has a plethora of great resources to help you with this dilemma. You can find them in our Mom Directory under Education Resources.

Or you can attend our event Demystifying the LA Private Elementary School Admissions Process. We host this seminar around town throughout the year. Our next one is coming up Monday June 4 at Romp on North Highland. Led by our regular contributor Christina Simon, of Beyond The Brochure: An Insider’s Guide To Private Elementary Schools in Los Angeles and co-author Porcha Dodson, with additional insight from school consultant Sandy Eiges of L.A. School Scout, this event is chock full of great information.

This event is brought to you by Academic Achievers which offers private, in-home tutoring, as well as academic management. We will assess your child’s strengths and weaknesses, customize a program, follow your child’s progress, and share it with you personally.
