Club MomMe
Attention expectant Moms! New Moms! And Moms with babies! There is a new organization in town that exists solely to help you connect with one another in fun, educational and relaxing ways. Club MomMe is a community of moms and moms-to-be for social, educational and athletic events, classes and parties. They host events around town like their upcoming FREE Yoga Series on May 12 at the Pump Station in Santa Monica and Bump Beauty & Style at Kidville in Brentwood on May 30.
Founders Rachel Burris Pitzel and Lane Gulotta met in Chicago through the Junior League. Their friendship really blossomed when they served on the same committee, and about half of the members became pregnant and were expecting within a few months of each other. Throughout their pregnancies, Rachel and Lane formed a tight bond working out, shopping and planning for their babies, and sending long emails comparing pampers versus huggies and other pertinent mommy-to-be debates. Their joint experience led them to create Club MomMe a terrific resource for Moms in LA and Chicago. (LA resident Rachel is a fantastically enthusiastic Mom who loves to help other Moms!
