Get Fit Mommy with JAM, BarMethod and GymBox LA!
For those of you who have been asking me about my recent slimmer physique and all the working out I have been doing….here's what is working for me. First and foremost its Juicy Athletic Moves (JÄM).
This totally fun dance workout is Neda Soderqvist's own twist on Zumba. She takes it to a whole new "juicy" level with salsa, hip hop and lots of Bollywood moves. The music is rocking! We learn new routines and choreography weekly. Don't worry if you can't get the steps right away. Even people who have been dancing with her for years have to learn the new moves and we all falter, stumble, shake and shimmy together. You do NOT need to know how to dance to join this class. I can't even grapevine and I can do it. Its awesome fun! I have never sweated so much in my life smiling the whole time I do it! And don't worry there are always established easier routines that we also do every week. Everything is easy to learn! And you will feel sexy and confident doing it. And there's men in the class!! I love watching the men bellydance and shake their booties! Its a hoot. She teaches Mon and Fri mornings at 9:30am in Malibu at DanceStar in the Lumberyards at CrossCreek. I am also in love with what BarMethod does for the body! I say try it ladies! There are studios all over town. I can't say enough about how hard it works every little inner core and thigh muscle. The third thing I really love is kickboxing. I was taking classes weekly with Ian at GymBoxLA. That was seriously working my core and arms. I am taking the Summer off but can't wait to get back to it in the Fall. They are located in Brentwood and also offer private sessions.
